About Wildly Blended

Wildly Blended is veteran owned and operated. I, Kinnlee, joined the Oklahoma Army National Guard immediately following high school and served 6.5 years as a Combat Medic. I am a decorated veteran: earning the Global War on Terrorism Medal, Operation Iraqi Freedom Medal, National Defense Medal, Army Service Medal, multiple Army Commendation and Achievement Medals for selflessly going above and beyond the call of duty, and many more.

I have spent over 15 years dedicating my life to serving others in the medical field, and I plan to continue to pay it forward by contributing a portion of the proceeds from Wildly Blended to a local organization that helps train service dogs for veterans. It’s the best of both worlds!

When I’m not devoting my attention to Wildly Blended, I focus all my extra time on my family. My husband, Matt, and I met in the Army in 2004. We have been happily married for 10 years and have 3 beautiful children! To say we live a full life is quite an understatement!

Wildly Blended offers a holistic approach to all your canine and feline needs.

All of my products are handmade, by me, in small batches. I use only high quality, human-grade, USDA Certified Organic ingredients in all of my products. I never use any additives, preservatives, binders, fillers, or hormones. They’re simply pure. Just the way nature intended.

As a small business, I am always expanding and adding new, innovative natural products. Your pet’s health is my number one priority. I ethically source all of my ingredients and am diligent in ensuring everything I make is safe and non-toxic.

I first heard about raw feeding approximately 10 years ago. However, there weren’t a lot of resources available and, at the time, I had recently returned from my deployment to Iraq. As it often does, life got busy and any ideas of raw feeding got pushed aside.

Fast forward 10 years and, about a month after we brought Abel home, I lost my job. So, I had plenty of time to dive into the world of raw-feeding and canine nutrition. Since Abel is a Golden Retriever, I knew I needed to provide him the best diet I could so that he could have the best chance for a long and healthy life. Golden Retrievers are prone to many disabling health issues, and I instinctively knew that dry dog food was not the best choice for Abel.

The raw diet just made sense. So, I started researching raw feeding, joined raw-feeding groups on Facebook and Instagram, and began asking questions. I read articles, books, and studies. I took a nutrition course through Dogs Naturally Magazine and became a certified nutritionist. I am currently taking the Canine Herbalist course and will be certified soon.

Nutrition is ever-evolving. It’s important to continuously research the latest information and to keep an open mind. There is no one right way to feed an animal. But we can strive to give our pets the best diet we can. The more we support one another, and help spread awareness, the more we will be able to normalize raw feeding.

When we start looking at food as medicine, your outlook on your dog’s nutrition changes completely. You start feeding to prevent illnesses and disorders. You start feeding to provide a healthy weight. You start feeding to provide more energy. You start feeding to help them live their healthiest and best life. Raw feeding is not easy. But it is worth the time and effort when you see the positive changes in your pet.

I founded Wildly Blended with one goal in mind: providing high-quality, nutrient-dense, and reliable products. My passion for excellence has driven me from the beginning, and continues to drive me into the future. I know that every product counts. What we put into our bodies counts.  It should not be any different for our pets.
